Last Updated: February 26, 2026

Overview

Conjuly is a macOS screen capture and mirroring application developed by Deschutech LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data Conjuly collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Data We Do Not Collect

Conjuly is designed to operate locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store:

  • Screen capture content or recordings
  • Webcam or microphone data
  • Screenshots or annotations
  • Personal files or documents
  • Usage analytics or telemetry
  • Browsing history or app usage patterns

All screen captures, recordings, screenshots, and annotations remain entirely on your device and are never sent to our servers.

System Permissions

Conjuly requests the following macOS permissions to function:

  • Screen Recording — Required to capture screen content. All captured content stays on your device.
  • Microphone (optional) — Used only when you choose to record audio. Audio data stays on your device.
  • Camera (optional) — Used only when you enable the webcam overlay. Video data stays on your device.

Data Storage

All data generated by Conjuly — including captures, recordings, and settings — is stored locally on your Mac. We do not operate cloud storage or sync services.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties. No advertising SDKs or tracking frameworks are included in Conjuly.

Children's Privacy

Conjuly does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.

International Users & GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or equivalent local laws. Deschutech LLC is the data controller for the purposes of applicable data protection law.

Legal Basis for Processing: To the extent we process any personal data (for example, if you contact us via email), our legal basis is either your consent or our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry.

Your Rights: Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Object to or restrict our processing of your personal data
  • Request portability of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

Because Conjuly operates entirely on your device and does not collect or transmit personal data, most of these rights will not be applicable during normal use of the application. However, if you have contacted us and wish to exercise any of these rights, please email us at hello@conjuly.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully.
