Reporting a Problem
Including these details in your email lets us diagnose most issues on the first reply:
- Your macOS version (Apple menu > About This Mac)
- Your Conjuly version (menu bar icon > About Conjuly)
- Whether you installed from the Mac App Store or downloaded the .dmg
- What you were doing when the problem happened, and what you expected instead
- A screenshot or short screen recording, if the issue is visual
Common Issues
The mirror window is black, or no screen content appears
Conjuly needs Screen Recording permission to capture anything. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen & System Audio Recording, find Conjuly, and turn it on (click + to add it if it is not listed). Quit and reopen Conjuly for the change to take effect — macOS does not apply this permission to a running app.
Recordings have no audio
Microphone audio requires Microphone permission: System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone > enable Conjuly. System audio capture requires macOS 15.0 or later and is enabled per recording in the recording options.
The webcam overlay is blank
Enable Camera access in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera. If another app is already using the camera exclusively, quit that app and try again.
Conjuly does not appear as a camera in Zoom, Meet, or Teams
The virtual camera installs a system extension. Approve it in System Settings > General > Login Items & Extensions when prompted, then fully quit and reopen the video app — most apps only scan for cameras at launch.
An iPhone, iPad, or capture card is not listed as a source
Connect the device by USB, unlock it, and trust this Mac if prompted. External device capture is a Conjuly Pro feature. If the device still does not appear, unplug and reconnect it, then reopen the Add Region menu.
I cannot find the Conjuly window
Conjuly is a menu bar app and has no Dock icon. Look for the Conjuly icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen — every feature is reachable from there.
My Pro features are not unlocked after purchasing
Click the Conjuly icon in the menu bar, choose Upgrade to PRO, then click Restore Purchase — make sure you are signed in with the Apple Account you bought with. If Pro still does not activate, email us and we will sort it out.
Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds
Managing your subscription
Conjuly Pro is available as an auto-renewing monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions purchased through the Mac App Store are billed to your Apple Account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. To view, change, or cancel a subscription, open App Store account settings. Lifetime purchases are a one-time payment and do not renew.
Refunds
Purchases made through the Mac App Store are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For licenses bought directly from conjuly.com, email us and we will take care of it.
Enterprise & volume licensing
For MDM deployment, volume licensing, or invoicing, email hello@conjuly.com.
